Batumi Mall beacon
Batumi sea port mall beacon was built in 1904. Before electrification the source of the light was French made equipment manufactured by Sautter -Harle in 1892 , the fresnel lens, which made visibility on 10 nm . Today the lens is kept in SHSG museum of navigational pieces.
The beacon is still functioning . In compliance of navigational standards it was equipped with diode led lanterns. Flashing characteristics: red; - 20 ° -149 ° (129 °, white: 149 ° -176 ° (27 °);, green- 176 ° -260 ° (84 °).
