SHSG has participated on MBSHC online conference
The Georgian State Hydrographic Service of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia has participated in the online conference of Mediterranean and Black Seas Hydrographic Commission (MBSHC22) of International Hydrographic Organization.
During the conference were discussed Problems of Overlapping electronic maps of the Mediterranean and Black Sea basin countries and ways of their solving, as well as issues of updating of the international map catalog, which contains five international navigation charts produced by the Hydrographic Service of Georgia. A working group of the Mediterranean and Black Seas Hydrographic Commissions was set up with the involvement of the Hydrographic Service of Georgia.
Within the framework of IHO Capacity Building, advanced training courses were planned, where the employees of the State Hydrographic Service of Georgia will be engaged.
MBSHC meetings are organized by the International Hydrographic Organization every 2 years.
