July 1, International day of Aids to Navigation
According to the decision taken by IALA today, on First July we celebrate World Marine Aids to Navigation Day, the main goal is to be aware of the importance of the AtoN World by promoting a safe navigation in coastal waters and waterways, as the preservation of the marine environment.
In 2016 Georgia became the national member state of IALA, hence SHSG coordinates buoyage system in the waters of Georgia in compliance with IALA standards and regulations.
