SHSG at IALA conference held in Tokyo
The State Hydrographic Service of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia participated at the conference of the International Association of Lighthouse authorities (IALA), which was held in Tokyo on November 6-10 , 2023.
Within the framework of the conference, the procedures for the transformation of the association into the future intergovernmental aids to navigatio organization were discussed, as well as the general and financial regulations of the future organization were developed, which will be discussed at the General Assembly of IALA.
98 delegates from 40 member states of IALA participated in the conference.
Georgia, as a national member of the association, is actively involved in the work processes related to the transformation of the association (IALA) into an intergovernmental organization.
